Santa Clara Judge Orders Binkley to
Spend Six Months at State Hospital

On February 5, 2009 in Department 42, Superior Court of Santa Clara County, California, Judge Linda Condron ordered that Sargent McGregor Binkley be committed to Atascadero State Hospital (ASH) for a minimum of 180 days as a result of being found not guilty by reason of insanity for crimes of armed robbery with use of a gun. If at the end of the 180 day period, it is determined that Mr. Sargent McGregor Binkley is no longer a risk to himself or others, he will be released from ASH.
