Santa Clara Judge Orders Binkley to
Spend Six Months at State Hospital
| On February 5, 2009 in Department 42, Superior Court of Santa Clara County, California, Judge Linda Condron ordered that Sargent McGregor Binkley be committed to Atascadero State Hospital (ASH) for a minimum of 180 days as a result of being found not guilty by reason of insanity for crimes of armed robbery with use of a gun. If at the end of the 180 day period, it is determined that Mr. Sargent McGregor Binkley is no longer a risk to himself or others, he will be released from ASH.
