Sharpened Senses

I left the dinner with a clearer perspective of the enemy we are facing,
and a renewed confidence that we will endure and flourish.

I felt the spirit of fallen comrades as we honored them
in the presence of their loved ones.

It was altogether a fitting and proper evening.
