2005: Missed season due to injury. Earned start at WR on No. 2 Offense and made two receptions for 17 yards in spring game (4-23-05).

2004: Earned first letter with 117 overall snaps (87 on offense and 30 on defense) in eight games. Played season-high 36 snaps in 1-A debut vs. No. 22 Maryland (9-4-04). Tied for No. 34 in team tackles (two). Notched one stop apiece vs. Western Michigan (10-23-04) and vs. Eastern Michigan (11-20-04). Made travel roster seven times. Contributed on KO unit. Opened year as No. 4 SE. One of three Northern Illinois true frosh recruits (23) to win letter in 2004.

Prep: Renown for acrobatic catch in state playoffs vs. Hutchinson (2003). Lettered in football (3), basketball (4), and baseball (2). Named First-Team All-State on gridiron and First-Team Academic All-State in classroom. Selected team captain and MVP, First-Team All-Missota Conference, First-Team St. Paul Pioneer Press All-Area and All-State, First-Team Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro and First-Team Minnesota Football Coaches Association All-State on 11-2 league champion and Class 4A state playoff semifinalist for coach Mark Froehling as a senior. Made 52 receptions for 1,000 yards (19.3 ypc.) and 13 TDs and rushed six times for 108 yards--including an 89-yard long-gainer--at WR, plus notched 55 tackles, eight deflections, two fumble recoveries, two fumble-cause hits, and one interception at SS (2003). Tabbed First-Team All-MC and caught 13 passes for 313 yards (24.1 ypc.) and six TDs--including an 81-yard long-gainer--on 9-1 state Class 4A playoff qualifier as a junior (2002). Contributed on special teams as punter and punt returner. Earned All-MC honors at guard in basketball as a junior and lettered as a pitcher in baseball. National Honor Society member.
