Here's a photo for the family site of our soon to be newest member of the Lubke Clan, my fiance Dean Wenger, right.. Dean went up in a Red Baron biplane for 20 minute ride two days ago. The entire Red Baron (the frozen pizza brand) squadron is in Marshall as part of Schwan's 50th Anniversary Festival. They gave rides last week to just 50 individuals from the community. I was invited, but gave my ride to Dean. His pilot did an upside down loop and a stall while heading straight up. Dean came back down thrilled. The Petrie-Thompson family was here at the time and Scarlett cheered Dean on as he landed "hurrah for Uncle Dean". Yesterday was a 130 unit parade celebrating Schwan's. Stryker watched (& got lots of candy), Scarlett and Mary participated in the YMCA Clown float. -- Theresa, July 2002. |
