I
did not know him on a personal basis, only as a bank customer when
he came in almost daily. I have to tell you a little bank joke: Virginia
Morse put a red "check" mark on a big wall calendar
one day after your dad was in. Bernice Whittier (Dan's mother)
asker her why she did that and Ginnie said, "Mr. Lubke smiled
today!" I didn't
realize what a great guy he was. No wonder his kids were so athletic
and smart, too. |
